Valid for at least 3 months beyond your intended departure from the Schengen area.
Entry stamp process
Schengen entry stamp. EES rollout in progress at MAD and BCN.
Entry checklist
- Passport with 3+ months validity beyond exit date.
- Return or onward ticket + accommodation proof.
- ETIAS from 2026 for US/UK/CA/AU passports.
Currency
Euro (EUR). Cards accepted almost everywhere.
